A Bad Think is actually something very good. This is a one-man project driven by Michael Marquart, a record producer and multi-instrumentalist. On these releases he writes and performs all of the songs with some help from top studio musicians. His 2019 double album, “The Savior,” is now available in 5.1 surround sound, consisting of 18 songs of modern progressive rock. The visionary artistry of Michael Marquart has created a plethora of engaging and thoughtful releases. Folloiwng his 2014 Grammy nominated “Sleep,” this latest double album blends a palette of stories of virtual and surreal worlds, with moody and dark tapestries, painted by a spectrum of colors. One can hear elements of the Alan Parsons Project and Pink Floyd sprinkled with dashes of Al Stewart and modern Americana, melded together creating a grand and epic audio experience.
Produced by Marquart with Dave Way (Beck, Foo Fighters), and mixed by Bob Clearmountain (Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi), the album was recorded in Los Angeles at Windmark Recording and is available for download in 96kHz / 24-bit FLAC or on Blu-ray through limited sellers.
