Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band has released a Blu-ray Audio disc of their 2019 album “The Gordian Knot” containing Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, 5.1 surround, and high resolution stereo mixes. This exciting 2020 release presents the bands’ music in a manner that is incredibly difficult to describe. Rich details punch through with the presence of the musicians and the vibrancy of their playing absolutely shining on. The stereo PCM 96kHz / 24-bit, 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio 48kHz / 24-bit, or the 11.1 (7.1+4) Auro-3D 48kHz / 24-bit codecs allow listeners to feel the air coming from the players horns, along with the vibration of the drum heads, and even the quivering of the guitar strings.
