Interstellar Sequence releases “The Chrysalids,” a concept electronic album inspired by the sci-fi novel of the same title by John Wyndham. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future, in a society where people live religiously off the land. Their beliefs guide them to preserve absolute normality among the surviving humans, plants, and animals, thus any humans with even minor mutations are either killed or sterilized and banished. A group of children hide their own form of mutation - telepathy.
The album was recorded from April 2019 thru April 2020 using various VST equipment. For high resolution and surround sound enthusiasts, a 96kHz / 24-bit 5.1 surround and 4.0 quad mix, along with a 96kHz / 24-bit stereo mix are available for download at an extremely fair price, but no harm in tipping! These include the entire album plus 3 bonus tracks mixed by Jan Printz. A standard resolution stereo download is also available through BandCamp effectively for free, which is a perfect way to turn your friends on to this intriguing album.
