Eat a Peach is a timeless classic southern rock album that pays tribute to the dearly departed Duane Allman who is featured on the live portion of this double album. Monumental to guitarists is the 33-minute song “Mountain Jam” with strong playing from the brothers, along with exceptional roadhouse blues-rock as part of the live set. The studio portion of the release contains songs completed before Duane’s death, along with a few new post Duane songs. Initially released on vinyl back in 1972, it has been available on CD and later remixed in 5.1 surround sound and issued on SACD.
